​Below are the patterns and guidelines we’re using to ensure that we are making the perfect items to help the sweet babies in need!

Octopus Dolls 

 

  • The best size for a NICU knitted or crocheted octopus doll is a head length of 2 to 3.5 inches (7 to 9cm) and tentacles that stretch to no more than 8 inches (20 cm).

  • Total length from head to the tip of stretched tentacles should safely stay under 8 to 9

  • inches.

The best sizes for NICU knitted blankets are small-scale dimensions like 18" x 19", 20"x 24", and 24" × 30", as they fit neatly over isolettes and small incubators without erwhelming the baby or blocking medical equipment.
